Mimogame began two years ago + overdue updates
Finally another devlog.
So before we kick this off, Mimogame as a whole is now 2 years old. This project began on May 1st, 2022. It’s still being worked on as we speak, but man times change, huh?
Okay, first off, last month, I finally got to make dialogues work as I intended them to be, since I found an easier tutorial to get this set up for real this time. I’ve made a few videos testing out the mechanic, and they’re all made for funsies (except the last video, which is reserved for an eventual demo build). Feel free to watch them below.
Secondly, I figured out how sequences work! However, I don’t know how to make cutscenes with them yet, so I’ll hopefully implement them in the future.
Lastly (albeit very minor), Mimosa now makes squeaking noises whenever he walks or runs. Lookit him go!!
